This piece was made in the make shift studio I created in the yard of my accommodation in the small coastal village of Talpona, South Goa, India. This series of abstract works were created by mixing powder pigments in water and pouring them onto the raw canvas. The intense heat allows them to dry quickly in order that the layers can built up. By choosing these methods and palette, I have tried to capture a part of the landscape and climate.
Tray framed in an off-white wooden frame.
