I created this painting after returning from Kutch India in February 2024
I was lucky enough to go out of Safari into the Banni Grasslands at Sunset and see and hear thousands of Common Cranebirds. They made an incredible loud shrill as they flew overhead. And then they stopped at the lake and it was silent.
And that's how this piece gained its name.
It's a lively piece full of both hot pinks and and lots of movement
