This is my new painting called Hope. I photographed this very optimistic and beautiful cow outside the gates of a Prinjapol Gaushala (Cow sanctuary) in Jaipur. Almost all sanctuary cows in India have been rescued from slaughter houses or found with plastic in their stomachs.
This latest collection of my Indian cow paintings are focusing on the need to highlight the plight of these amazing animals in the face of the ‘plastic pollution’ that is killing them daily.., due to the excessive accumulation of plastic in their stomachs.
If you know of any organizations I can team up with, or have an exhibition space in mind please let me know. I'm trying to take the collection to Delhi, Bangalore or Mumbai..but would be happy to start in the UK!
Praise be. Blessed be the cow.
